Aflame

I am a painter who graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2006 with a sell-out degree show. My work has been exhibited across the country, including the Mall Galleries in London.

My painting is largely about storytelling. I use classical mythology, contemporary novels and children’s books as the basis for much of my work. The paintings fuse illustration and abstraction in order to best put across the narrative.

Other subjects include the photographs of wonderful American photographer Francesca Woodman.
