Battersea Powerstation II

I seek to invest my work with the same sense of humour and playfulness which lie at the very heart of my personality.  Each of my images are intended to be humorous interpretations of my diverse subject matter.

I am interested in the challenge posed by selecting contrasting textures and natural and non naturalistic colour combinations to create the finished works.  My style has been influenced by a contrasting range of artists and styles from Andre Derain to Robert Motherwell and Patrick Caulfield. 

Having been born and raised in London the city has always been a big influence in my life. This is reflected in my current work which is based upon its diverse architecture, both old and new.
