This is my own photograph which i have heat transfered onto silk. I have hand stitched into this piece using different coloured embroidery and light weight threads. 

 

The Textile piece itself is A4 size.

This piece comes with its own cutom made white frame with the size being - width 43cm and length 53cm

Artist Profile

 I studied a BA textiles for fashion and interiors at Bath Spa University and have recently graduated. By using different materials and fabrics, I experiment with surface and texture. I take inspiration from different surfaces which are eroding, peeling, damaged and layered. I use photography and different Medias to show my interpretation of the image taken. I especially enjoy working from cracked graffiti and derelict buildings.
