Artist's statement
My work is like a journey among the exploration of all kind of living things, from peculiar and interactive objects to natural elements, sometimes recalling the origins of life, sometimes pointing out our own relation to them.
My attempt is to show the inter-mingling of self and the world that surrounds me towards nature and sources of life both organic and morphologic.
Every round, curvy and irregular shape recalling natural elements attracts me. I like working with a combination of a range of materials, textures and shapes. Their interaction and metamorphosis through art become a
Screen of life where certain interpretive aspects can be reduced or intensify.
My work reflects at the same time an emotional and psychological transcription of a range of feelings such as daydream, fantasy, freedom, illusion and memory. My desire is to encourage the viewer to enter this space between a real and imagined world, to see beyond their eyes, to experience my work both physically and psychologically to realise their own relationship to it.
