HOW TO TRANSFORM YOUR HOME INTO A SANCTUARY
Top Art Tips by Elinor Olisa and Isobel Beauchamp
⏱️A one minute read
Elinor and Isobel, the co-founders of DegreeArt.com plus sister companies Contemporary Collective and ArtQuoPro, know something about about the search for serenity. Aside from the demands of running their art businesses, they also have a total of five children between them – all under the age of 8 - with all the hubbub that brings. More conscious than ever of the challenges we face in searching for calm, Elinor and Isobel spent some of their precious 1000 daily minutes this week sharing their ideas to help you (quickly) make your space a sanctuary.
Tip One: Don't be afraid to buy, display or use items that make you happy - why save something for best when it can bring you pleasure everyday.
Tip Two: Re-Curate your Walls. Often artwork can become 'part of the furniture'. By swapping or moving 1 or 2 key pieces into new locations, you can breath new life onto your walls and see the artwork in a whole new light.
Tip Three: Trust your Instincts. If you like something, it will work. Give your own interior design skills some credit. Use magazines, Instagram and TV shows for inspirations but don't be afraid to add your own touches.
