Dr Helen Gorrill Featured in The Guardian and BBC Radio4

Helen has been involved in two pieces of press this week because of her recently published research and book titled ‘Women Can’t Paint’ investigating why the value of women’s art has historically been lower than that of men’s’ and how the tide is turning.

1) On Tuesday she was quoted in and contributed to this piece in the Guardian:

2) The Guardian piece was because of her involvement in the programme, that aired on Monday, on BBC Radio 4 called  ‘Recalculating Art’ presented by the author of the Guardian piece, Mary Ann Sieghart:

As Helen continues to develop her career both as an academic and artist, her works are becoming increasingly collectable and sought after. If you are interested in collecting further works by the artist or in knowing more about the events and exhibitions, that we are planning with Helen for next year, please do not hesitate to contact us.
