The original piece is a large show stopping work at 98cm wide by 149cm high and is a stretched canvas over a hand built wooden frame. Initially a hand drawing in lead is partially painted and then pieces of fashion magazines are torn and cut and then used to create the similar colourings, almost like painting with torn magazines. Pastels a softer contrast to the magazine pieces is chosen for part of the buildings in the distance and then nail polish is used to create the dramatic shadowing of the water. A mix of leads, pastels, charcoals, ink and paints have also been used to fine tune this striking work. These professional yet affordable limited edition Giclee prints are mounted in snow-white and wrapped in a clear film which make a perfect gift.
