We are delighted to announce that two DegreeArt.com artists have been shortlisted to take part in "ALL IN ONE" - An exhibition of Wearable Art presented by Diamonds Unleashed and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami.
The exhibition will take place during Art Miami, from 27th November - 4th December 2016.
Claire Luxton's and Mengyao Guo's iconic aeshethics won the attention of Kara Ross, Founder and CEO of social give back company 'Diamonds Unleashed'. This inspiring company empowers women's social worth, promoting better educational opportunities for girls & entrepreneurship through micro-finance for women.
For this year's edition of Art Miami Basel, DIAMONDS UNLEASHED has partnered with world renowned designer, CFDA Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, and DU ambassador, Norma Kamali, to create a unique wearable art collection. Norma Kamali has donated her iconic “All in One” dresses for this activation which will allow young artists of alternative, non-traditional, mediums, to turn these dresses into wearable works of art.
Each artist selected will be interpreting the Diamonds Unleashed symbol of women’s empowerment in their own unique inimitable style. All proceeds rasied will go to support girls education and micro-finanace opportunities for women.
Diamonds Unleashed has partenered with the Mandarin Oriental Miami as it’s official hotel partner. The lobby of the Mandarin Oriental Miami will be turned into a curated, exhibit to highlight these powerful, cutting-edge, never before seen, pieces from November 27th - December 4th.
