Colour Washes Prussian Blue and Violet - Inspired by the work of Helen Frankenthaler 1928-2011 an Abstract Expressionist painter. Her work was forever changing, but some pieces consisted of 'washes of colour with thin glazes of oil' These pieces takes influence from that period 'veils of transparent washes of oil paint' interlaid with bold marks exploring, space, form, marks and colour. Painted in the spirit of Abstract Expressionism.
