The Big Egg Hunt 2025: A City-Wide Celebration of Art and Conservation

In Easter 2025, The Elephant Family joined forces with Clarence Court Eggs to present The Big Egg Hunt — a public art trail that transformed London into a vibrant outdoor gallery.

Bringing together over 100 large-scale egg sculptures, the initiative showcased the talents of globally recognised artists and creatives from the worlds of art, design, interiors, food and retail. Participating names included Anya Hindmarch, LUAP, Fortnum & Mason, Chopard, Philip Colbert, and Duncan Campbell & Charlotte Rey, among others. The result was a striking, city-wide display designed to inspire and engage audiences of all ages.

Running from 24th March to 27th April, The Big Egg Hunt invited the public to explore a free trail across London’s most iconic landmarks and neighbourhoods — from Chelsea and Canary Wharf to Battersea Power Station, The Barbican, The British Museum and The Royal Albert Hall. The project was made possible through the generous support of sponsors IBI Logistics.

Visitors were encouraged to "collect" eggs using The Big Egg Hunt app, available on iOS and Google Play, which also offered the chance to win prizes. A printable map was also provided for those preferring a more traditional approach.

If you like us were captivated by the creativity on display, there is now the opportunity to own one of these expertly crafted eggs. Each sculpture is available through a silent auction, with bidding open until 9pm on 13th May 2025. Proceeds from the auction will go directly towards Elephant Family’s vital conservation work, supporting efforts to protect habitats and wildlife across South Asia.

Full details and bidding options can be found on the official auction site.
