Drifts of Blue - Inspired by colour and mark. The psychology of blue, it is the colour of trust and honesty. It is sincere, reserved and quiet. The colour exhibits our inner security and confidence. This piece has 'stains' of blue and then more intensity of colour and build up of paint juxtaposed against black and turquoise. Influenced by Rothko's 'enveloping colour. Painted in the spirit of Abstract Expressionism.
