"Feel The Sun" is celebratory! In fact 2013 could not be a better year to display it! It's about a long period of dull wet weather which has got everyone down, and suddenly the sun bursts fourth. We rush outside to enjoy it, and this painting is that wonderful feeling of sun warming the small of ones back. The painting is not framed and is ready to hang as it is, but it would possibly be improved with a wooden surround. The wooden stretcher is custome made and the canvas is good strong duck canvas. Acrylic paints have been applied both to soak into the raw canvas and also to sit more seriously on top of it. It is not textured. The painting could form the central statement in a room with a sunny aspect, or indeed in a room that rarely gets the sun.
