Materials:

These images were created in collaboration with the wind during walks in the Hebrides with etching devices made of found objects holding an etching needle. The wind travels through me and these devices onto marks on the metal plate. Five different plates were drawn into using my etching device Seismopolygraph VI, on five different walks on five consecutive days, each in gale force 8 winds. The unlimited possibilities of layering these five unique etchings in the printing process, a technique open to chance, revealed itself as a network of beautiful ghost images, a record of time. Each print is therefor unique.
