This painting which is inspired by the sunset at the Walt Disney Florida park Epcot, has a stage set feel, which is something that pops up in work. I think that aspect pops up in my work partly because my inspirations usually come from theme park settings , I can’t resist the theatre feel of them and partly I think comes from the years of being a window dresser , that setting up of the window/stage is imbedded in my thought process. I titled the painting “Home is where the heart is” because I love to travel with my family, my family are my home, where ever they are that’s my home, they are my heart.
