My process starts with a photoshoot where I paint directly onto my skin with oil paint and take hundreds of pictures. I then choose up to 6 images to print from the shoot. Once these are manufactured as an acrylic reverse print (the image is sandwiched between a piece of acrylic on the front and aluminium on the reverse, with a subframe for hanging) I then paint over the top of the image with acrylic paint. This creates a layering of image of paint and painted image. . This series was edited during the Coronairus outbreak when 'In to the light' seems so fitting and I hope uplifting. . Please note, this image shows the picture before paint has been applied over the top. The image will be printed and painted onto once your order has completed!
