"Is the scarf too much? It’s too much." is a painting based on the statue Laocoön and His Sons, I'm fascinated with Ancient Greek and Roman statues. I worked up a small series of paintings based on these statues and also the mythology that surrounds them. I'm interested in Greek mythology and plan to create a new series in the future base on particular stories. This particular piece started life as a study that soon became it's own painting, injecting a little of my humour and fondness for colour.
