As part of the Totally Thames Festival 2024 and in collaboration with the Bankside Hotel, Artist Luke M Walker will exhibit his 7.5 metre panorama of the banks of River Thames rendered in Charcoal and an exhibition of related works.
This six panelled work in Charcoal was created by Luke M Walker over the course of 7 weeks as Artist in Residence at Bankside Hotel in the Spring of 2023. Inspired by some of the epic historical panoramas of the Thames some of which will also be on display, Luke's contemporary work takes a broad sweep along the South Bank of the Thames from Wandsworth Bridge in the West to Tower Bridge and beyond in the East.
