Born in Leningrad, USSR (now St Petersburg Petersburg, Russia) in 1988. The first degree was obtained was in Social Psychology, which was followed by employment as a medical psychologist in a Hospice. This experience was rather transformative and led to a higher commitment to art practices. Then I did a 1-year course at Kingston University and a 1-year Certificate in Paris College of Art and art philosophy course in ICA, Moscow. Works as an exhibiting artist on its own, but also is a member of a performance self-organization APXIV. Now I am doing my second MA Painting in Royal College of Arts, recently was shortlisted for the Bankley Art Prize and got an ArtRooms Award.
The themes of my painting practice explore the opportunities to intrude on the past and see it in a different way, most of the works are set on a large scale to give painting the body act dimension.
