Other (Interior Design , 1995)

Sara has a background in Interior Design, and a foreground in Art & Design. What started as inventive presents using recycled trinkets has grown into a creative calling,

Several collections evolved - artworks, glassware and interior accessories.

" I like my designs to mix the material world and 'immaterial' or imaginary world. Body art and graphic novels inspire me. Model villages fascinate me. I have a background in Interior Design, so understand the design process from project conception to handover from both sides of the table."

Playful, intricate box frame collages. This is a collection of artwork featuring miniature characters.

"They are little people living on a big planet, much like us; I like to twist our sense of scale and juxtapose simple objects in order to deliver a message. The relative scale of the people makes their situation humorous and wistful."

Stunning sandblasted glass interior accessories. Sara’s designs are sandblasted by hand onto interesting and high quality vintage and antique pieces that she has collected.

This is a collection of glassware that can be used as accent pieces throughout your home or a design project. The designs are hand drawn to suit each piece and then sandblasted onto the glass to a high quality, also by hand.

“The aim is to turn plain, unwanted glassware into works of art that people can use, treasure and collect.”
